Week of Vacation

About a week after we returned home from our wedding, Joseph and I both started school again. We took summer classes and so summer vacation wasn't what we were hoping for. So we decided that the week after summer term and before fall semester we would have a mini vacation with tons of fun. We decided to stay close to home and just do day trips of things we always wanted to do. We went rock climbing one day (it was an inside gym because we had a discount!) went down the Provo river another day, went to the movies, out to eat, and went camping near Manti with Jake and Lauren and Joe's Aunt Sharon and Uncle Jeff. We had a blast and can't wait for our next vacation when we go to Arizona for thanksgiving! I wasn't able to get pictures of everything we did, but here are some:

Cute outfits right? The water was ridiculously freezing so we got wet suits. I was still freezing so I would probably be dead if I didn't get one.

Jeff and Sharon let us ride their four wheelers. It was so much fun. It got pretty dusty-but soo worth it! 

Temple Trips

Joseph and I decided to take a picture at all the temples we visit and make a photo book of all the temples we've been too. So far we have visited together the Reno, San Diego, Oakland, Provo, and Mt. Timp temples. We are going to try and get as many of the Utah temples in as we can while we are here in Utah. Honeymoon!!

Okay, so I thought I should back track and put some pictures up from our wedding, honeymoon, and married life these last 5 months. I'll get the wedding pictures posted as a slide show soon. But for now here are some happenings from our Packard Adventures.

The Honeymoon!

Joesph and I were married in San Diego on Saturday the 30th of May and on the 31st we boarded the Carnival Cruise Ship out of the San Diego Bay. The ship was supposed to go to Ensanada, but because of the Swine Flu we just looked at its coast from out window. But we did visit Catalina Island. That was a lot of fun. Joe and I rented a tandem bicycle and rode UPHILL to a botanical garden. We were going to get in the water but it was way to cold that day. Overall, the crusie ship was a blast, we went to shows, movies, dances, and ate all we could! They had these amazing chocolate dipped strawberries, which were my favorite so Joseph bought them for me almost everyday once we discovered them! And even though the pool water on the ship was FREEZING we still slid down the big water slide! Here are a few pictures...
