Our New Home

We LOVE our new home. It's a three bedroom, two bath home with a two car garage...oh and a backyard!!! It's only 1250 square feet, so small for most people, but it's larger than we've ever had before and we can call it ours!! We live in a small quite neighborhood, close to an elementary school and a city pool. I love our home and the area we live in. Couldn't be happier. So here are the pictures so many of you are demanding. The first two are from when the house was posted...so no, we don't have a coffee maker on our kitchen counter top. Don't mind the mess in the other pictures..what can I say...we live in it!

These two photos are the before pictures of baby Ryder's room...didn't get a good one before we started painting...but he had a redish/pink accent wall that was not going to happen for my little guy!

Valentine's Day

Jetta is officially in LOVE with Valentines Day! She didn't even know what Valentine's day was until she woke up and saw a present for her on the table and we said  "happy valentine's day". That, along with cookie decorating and going to spend the evening with her aunt Denise the day is permanently stuck in her memory. Because now every time she sees a heart or frosting, she says..."Oh my 'valemtimes' day...I love 'valemtimes' day!! I go see Aunt Denise"...or something to that nature. She has heart underwear and calls them her 'valemtimes' panties. haha...so I think our small celebration of Valentine's day really stuck with her.

That night to celebrate Joseph and I went to a restaurant at the hotel joseph works at. The food, atmosphere, and company was great! I loved our night out!!

January

January was a crazy month, full of fun! First was Logan's baptism and birthday party, then Joseph's 26th birthday and then we moved into our new home!!! Such a fun and busy month!

Sadly, I only got one picture at Logan's baptism, but it was amazing. The spirit was so strong and that guy is surrounded by people that love him...I was amazed at how many people were there supporting him. So proud of his decision and that we were able to be apart of it.

Birthday Celebrations at Texas Road House!

Joseph turned 26 this year!! We celebrated by going to California Pizza Kitchen and seeing the Hobbit in 3D!

Oh and by the way...we bought a house!! Officially home owners as of January 23, 2013. It wasn't what we were planning on doing when we first moved to AZ, but after looking at apartments we realized we could own a larger home for the same $$ or less than to rent. So with our AMAZING relator, Denise Ecalono, we found a home that we love and are pretty much all settled in and loving the home owner life!

Christmas

We were so blessed this Christmas. We lived with Denise, lived close to Josh and AJ and Jake came to visit. What a special Christmas to be near family and to have more than we ever needed. This year was especially fun because Jetta was really into it! It was so much fun to watch her eyes light up when she saw Santa (yes we actually SEE Santa deliver our Christmas gifts each year) as well as when she opened her gifts. I just love Christmas and boy did we have a good one. Counting down til next year!

Visiting Family (Dec. 2012)

My dad turned 50 this year!! So my step-mom through this huge surprise party that was in the works for over a year...no joke. So Jetta and I flew first to California to get a few days in with my mom and then headed to Reno to surprise my dad. I just love family and I love getting to see them. Hopefully someday we will all live closer to one another.

Family Stay-cation

In December Joseph planned a mini family vacation for us and his siblings that live nearby. We stayed at a Marriott of course, and it was my first time ever at a JW Marriott. Super fancy and super fun!

The near by shopping center had "snow" fall from the sky every night. Jetta loved it!

The next day...that same shopping center had like 20+ tons of real snow trucked in for the kids to play in...Jetta didn't like it..."too cold" -And yes all our winter clothes are packed away so we put Jetta in this beauty..haha.
